September 25, 2016 at. 12:00 The Third Dimension of Culture Foundation together with the Nowy Theater in Łódź, a meeting with Hanna Krall on Duży Scena, inaugurates a series of meetings with audience participation dedicated to the most important characters – witnesses, participants, designers and visionaries of the 20th and 21st century.
The participants of the meetings will be artists, writers, scientists, but also heroes and witnesses of events important for contemporary history, characters from the first pages of newspapers and those in the shadow, in a word those who carry a fascinating story about their own fate, in which they can see themselves generation. Above all, humanists. Those who may not realize that their story is also a lesson of what is most important.
The main character of the first meeting will be the most outstanding Polish reporter Hanna Krall, the author of twenty books, including “East of Arbat”, “Being in front of God”, “Six shades of white”, “Sublokatorka”, “Hypnosis”, “Windows”, Difficulties getting up “,” Dancing at someone else’s wedding “,” Evidence for existence “, “There is no river there anymore”, “Extremely long line”, “Calm Sunday afternoon”, “King of hearts again at the outlet”, “Sorrow”, “Pink ostrich feathers”, “White Mary”. She had an influence on the cinema of Krzysztof Kieślowski and the theater of Krzysztof Warlikowski. She worked in “Polityka” and “Gazeta Wyborcza”.
