Hatikva Foundation is a non-profit organisation. It was established in July 2018. to support activities that are important in spreading tradition, historical knowledge and national values. It fosters Polish and Jewish national heritage as an element of European and world cultural heritage by organising cultural events, spectacles, exhibitions and artistis and cultural events.
The mission of the Foundation is the animation of dialogue between Jewish communities from Poland, Israel and other countries. We pursue this goal by discovering and popularizing the areas of synergy of thoughts and achievements of the Jewish community with Polish culture. An important field of the Foundation’s commitment is the creation of undertakings involving children and youth from various countries. We trust that this is the most effective way of eliminating barriers and negative stereotypes and building bridges of understanding between nations, which in fact combines rich common history, tradition and culture.
The latest production is the spectacle – performance “Irena Sendlerowa. Righteous the Nations”, which in an innovative, unique, fascinating way tells of an extraordinary, steadfast woman who, according to the Talmud, “saved the whole world.”
Until now, the main field of the Foundation’s commitment was the production, distribution and promotion of Jewish theater performances. Currently, we are expanding our business by producing and distributing documentary and feature films and VR materials. We also plan to organize small and mass events and festivals, publishing activities, lectures, lectures and other educational and promotional activities in the area of our mission. An important element of our activity will also be the initiation and support of youth exchange – visits to Israeli youth in Poland and Poland in Israel.
